As a Special guest we would like to introduce Daniel Lebeau - “CIO of the year” in Belgium in 2010 and “European CIO of the year” in 2011:
Facilities and IT: partners for higher data quality, lower costs and leaner business processes
"We will explore different areas where the partnership between facilities and IT is fundamental to improve the operations.
We will see how we may improve the data quality of identity management of both internals and externals with integrated systems to manage physical security (badges), logical security (IT access), offices and telephony.
We will also discuss why an integration of maintenance management and office management brings benefits.
We will visit the value of common shared services between finance, HR, IT and facilities and stress the importance of common helpdesk processes.
We will highlight the importance of integrated voice and data communication to reduce costs and discuss how IT can support shared desks in new offices.
Finally, we will speak on future evolution including the importance of cloud, mobile, “use your own device”."
