With the arrival of six European standards in our field, an important period of international collaboration (29 countries) is nearing its end.
Now only one milestone remains: defining a European standard for benchmarking.
Since this standard is expected to be finalized in 2012, facility managers find themselves on the verge of a new era.
As a uniform framework in the area of FM, this standard will allow facility managers to communicate about their field internationally and to benchmark in areas such as costs, quality, processes, customer appreciation and customer satisfaction. -
